Hitler wanted to use the final solution to rid the world of all Jews because he felt that they were an infection and a disease that needed to be got rid of. So to relieve the world of Jews he sent them to camps. The camp system was violent and malevolent; there were three types of camp, Concentration (or labour) Camps (which had been in existence for a while in Hitler's reign) Extermination (or Death) camps (which were set up in 1942 and were solely for the purpose of the mass killing of Jews) and Holding camps (which were set up to hold Jew on there way through Europe to other camps. At concentration camps Jew would mostly work for the Germans making things for the war effort and helping them survive. This would probably be the first place a Jew would be sent to after this when they became to ill to work they would be sent to death camps. The system Jews had to go through before they died was horrendous. On arrival at a camp all possessions would be taken off the Jew and then they would be sent to have there hair shaved off then onto he chambers to be gassed. The possessions and hair were taken off the Jews because the Germans wanted to export this to other German settlements in Europe to help the war effort. The role of the SS in the camp system was essential, they were the ones who kept the Jews in order and destroyed all the evidence when they realised what they had done and what would happen when people found out. Treblinka was one of the worst camps it was established in 1941 as a forced labour camp for those accused of crimes by the occupation authorities was located 50 miles northeast of Warsaw, Poland.
